Great ideas
of 4" Tile Projects
We offer tiles to schools (and other
non-profit organizations) for just $4 each when done at your location. This
includes the tiles, paint (and other supplies), glazing and firing. You
control your profit margin by setting the cost above $4. Great for classroom
projects and more!
Tile Murals - Each participant
pays for and decorates one 4" tile, which will be placed on a wall in
your hallway. Make it a school-wide event, or each graduating class can make
a beautiful and lasting impression in its alma mater and benefit the school
budget at the same time! You set the donation fee, as proceeds are
contributed directly to your organization.
Tile Painting Booths at Fundraising
Events -If you have a fundraising event, Do*It*Yourself Crafts can
supply a tile painting booth which is fun for all ages and profitable.
Painters can keep their tile for themselves or they can be used for a group
project (such as a tile mural, garden bench or table). Do*It*Yourself Crafts
provides all materials and staffing for the project! We can deliver tiles
back to the school for distribution, or they can be picked up at our store
in Homewood.
Paint*A*Plate
For just $10 per plate, your students
can paint an 8* dessert plate to give as a gift, or to keep as a special
memento.
Do*It*Yourself Crafts will box
everything up that you will need to complete your project: plates, paints,
brushes, paint palettes and instructions. You pick everything up and when
you are finished bring everything back to us. We*ll clear glaze and fire the
plates, and they*ll be ready to pick up in one to two weeks.
We offer this special only to groups who
wish to do this project at their own facility. (The regular in-store price
for this project is $15 per plate.) Additionally, when 100 or more students
from the same school will be painting the same day, the price drops to $9
per plate; for 200 or more students, Do*It*Yourself Crafts will deliver and
pick up the plates.
Reservation two weeks in advance and a
deposit of $4.50 per plate is required.

Auction Projects
Purchased at a 25% discount, students
work together to paint items for auction at your annual fundraiser. Entire
classes can work on a joint platter or tile tray, or a set of dessert dishes
created by a specific group. We have many great suggestions, and the
opportunities are endless! One created, the masterpieces can be auctioned
off at your annual fundraising event.
