Clay Side
Clay Side is our dedicated clay studio, located right next door to Do It Yourself Crafts. Whether you’re brand new to clay, exploring handbuilding, or getting back on the wheel, this space is designed to support your creative process. From one-time classes to ongoing series and studio memberships, Clay Side offers a place to learn, practice, and be part of a creative community.
Want to work with clay? You can reserve a table to create using handbuilding techniques. No experience is needed. We’ll guide you through shaping and designing your piece by hand. The pottery wheel is not included with table reservations. Wheel throwing is available through classes or studio membership only.
Pottery classes for every level
We offer a range of classes designed for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced makers.
Try-It Wheel Classes: 1.5-hour intro sessions
On-Going Teacher-Led Classes: 6-week series
Handbuilding Workshops: Not all pottery is made on a wheel
Special Events: Date nights, girls’ nights, and themed workshops

Membership Includes:
Studio access from 5 am to midnight, 7 days a week
Use of pottery wheels, slab roller, tools, and equipment
Shelf space for works in progress
A supportive and creative studio environment
Membership Options:
Unlimited – $189/month
10-Hour – $89/month
Student 10-Hour – $69/month
Startup Fee: $59 (includes starter materials and tools)
Clay: $36 per 25lb bag (includes glaze use)
