A brand-new community clay studio from Do It Yourself Crafts — located right next door to our original space! Whether you’re just starting or picking up the wheel again, Clay Side is here for you. Classes and membership sign ups available now, with access to the space starting August 1. We are happy to show you around the space - you can schedule a tour to see what we’ve planned or just stop in to check it out.
At Do It Yourself Crafts, we’ve been helping people get creative since 1999 — and Clay Side is the next chapter. Whether you’re here to learn something new or dive deep into clay work, you’re welcome here.

We offer a range of classes designed for everyone — from absolute beginners to experienced makers.
Try-It Wheel Classes – 1.5-hour intro sessions
Beginner & Intermediate Classes – 4- and 8-week series
Handbuilding Workshops - not all pottery is made on a wheel
Special Events – Date nights, girls’ nights, and themed workshops

Membership is perfect for anyone who wants regular studio time with flexible access.
All memberships include:
5 a.m. to midnight access, 7 days a week
Use of wheels, slab roller, tools, and studio glazes
Shelf space for storing your work in progress
Supportive community & creative energy!
Membership Options:
Unlimited: $189/month
10-Hour: $89/month
Student 10-Hour: $69/month
(Valid for high school & college students, and grads within 1 year)
Startup Fee: $59 (includes first 25lb clay bag, two tiles to use as “cookies,” a pottery journal, and template pack)
Clay: $36 per 25lb bag (includes glaze use)
