FAQS

Have a question before you visit? You’re not alone.

Here are answers to some of the most common questions about reservations, classes, parties, and how it all works.

  • It’s easy! We recommend reserving your spot in advance, then when you arrive, you’ll choose your piece, pick your colors, and start creating—no experience needed.

When you’re finished, you’ll leave your piece with us to be glazed and fired in the kiln. We’ll text you when it’s ready for pickup.

We have a wide variety of pottery to choose from, including plates, bowls, mugs, home décor, seasonal items, figurines, and more.

  • Walk-ins without reservations are accepted, but you can always make a reservation if you want to guarantee your table!

Our busiest times tend to be right after lunch, so if that’s when your plans have you coming to paint, we recommend calling to let us know you’d like a table.

If we are full, we can generally let you know how long it will be until we think a table will be available.

  • Most guests spend about 1.5–2 hours creating their project. Reservations are scheduled to allow plenty of time to paint and enjoy your visit.

  • Your piece will need to stay with us to be fired in the kiln.

Most items are ready for pickup within about a week. Clay and stoneware projects may take a little longer.

We’ll text you as soon as your piece is ready.

  • Our studio is great for all ages! Some activities may require adult assistance for younger children.

Things can get a little messy, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting paint on, but don’t worry, everything is washable.

  • We offer a variety of hands-on creative experiences, including paint-your-own pottery, clay impressions, and stoneware.

We also have a dedicated clay studio offering wheel throwing and handbuilding classes, workshops, and memberships for those looking to explore clay more in depth.

Choose from a wide selection of projects like plates, bowls, mugs, figurines, and more. No experience needed.

  • Not at all! Anytime we are open you can come in to create with us!

  • Yes! You can take pottery and paints home to create at your own pace.

Choose your pieces and colors in the studio, and we’ll package everything you need. When you’re finished, simply return your items (including any unused paint), and we’ll glaze and fire them for you.

This is a great option for travel, at-home projects, or when you can’t stay to paint in the studio.

  • Most of our pottery is low-fire earthenware and should not be used in the microwave.

We also recommend hand-washing your items to help prevent chipping and keep them looking their best over time.

  • Stoneware is more durable than low-fire pottery and is generally safe for both the microwave and dishwasher.

We do not recommend using stoneware in the oven, as sudden temperature changes can cause cracking or damage.

  • Glass fusing is offered as a class only right now. Like so many things, glass supply has been affected by the events of the past year and a half. We’re hoping to have a more regular supply available soon.
