Are you creative, outgoing, and love working with people? Join our team Do It Yourself Crafts! We’re a fun, vibrant paint-your-own pottery shop looking to hire 1-3 part-time team members to help us bring joy to our customers.

About the Role:

   •   Hours: Mainly weekends during the school year, with increased availability during the summer months.

We are open Monday-Thursday 10-6, Friday and Saturday 10-9 and Sunday 12-6.

   •   Location: 1909 Oxmoor Road in Homewood. Applicants must have reliable transportation to get to work.

Applicant should be able to work a 4-8 hour shift (which is mostly standing) and be comfortable lifting boxes of pottery.

 Responsibilities:

      •   Greeting and assisting customers with their pottery projects.

      •   Explaining techniques, tools, and materials.

      •   Hosting and helping with children’s birthday parties to ensure everyone has a great time.

      •   Providing excellent customer service in a creative and friendly environment. This requires you to be up and helping! You should expect to spend most of your time standing and walking around.

      •   Helping with studio upkeep, including cleaning and organizing.
